Event Description
April 2, 1937 Roy Eymer and Percy Duchane bought the business at River Rd and US 23. It was just after the depression and times were still tough. Through their insight and courage this business has been in three generations and 75 years in Downtown Oscoda. We continue to serve our customers and our community. We will have our 75th anniversary celebration on May 23, 2012 so mark your calendars. There will be refreshments, special drawings, and sales. We will have on hand photos of our business through the years. Amazing how some things change and yet stay the same. Eymer & Duchane, Inc-ACE Hardware and now, Paddletown Hardware. Same people, same great service. Thank you, Oscoda and AuSable, Greenbush, Mikado, Wilbur, and the Tawas area people for your patronage over the years.
